YAMAHA's "L series" was introduced in 1974 as a high-grade series to meet the demands of professionals with a stronger emphasis on luxury.

The L-15 made in 1981 is introduced here.
The L-15 is a so-called "late model" with inlaid marquetry purfling and simple but luxurious original position inlays like snowflake inlays, which accentuates the beauty of the acoustic guitar.

The difference is that the early model is the original Western style and the late model is the original Jumbo style.

The top of this model is made of Ezo pine veneer, and the sides and back are made of beautiful quarter-sawn Hakaranda veneer.
Terry Nakamoto's signature and the year of production can be found on the inner label inside the soundhole.

The tuners are original TM-30G pegs.
One of the key points is that the gold is kept clean with little deterioration.

The body is YAMAHA's original jumbo style, and even with strong strokes, the sound does not collapse, and the volume is attractive with a sense of power.
When played, the sound grains have a distinct outline, and the sound is clear and responsive.
The high end of the sound has a shiny, glassy, broken-glass-like "sharryn" resonance within the powerful Yamaha sound, and when played fingerstyle with a light touch, you can enjoy the beautiful resonance of an acoustic guitar.
