Summary: The vintage-inspired LS26 A.R.E. reminds us of the tradition of Yamaha guitars. Like its appearance, the sound of the LS26 A.R.E. is open and mature while offering Yamaha's incredible comfort and playability. This particular Yamaha is in great shape & it comes with the original hard shell case.

Body: Small bodied acoustic with a Solid Engelmann Spruce Top Treated with A.R.E. and rosewood back & sides.

Neck: 5-ply rosewood & mahogany neck with a volute, open back Gotoh tuning keys, ebony fingerboard with abalone inlays. The scale length on this guitar is 25 9/16” and the nut width is 1.75”.

Pickups/Hardware: This instrument has gold hardware, beautiful binding on the top & the back of the guitar, a pickup has been installed. This guitar has a Tortoise pickguard.

Cosmetics: This Yamaha is in great shape – I found a few small scratches on the guitar and there are some pick scratches on the pickguard but overall this baby is in beautiful shape.

Playability: This is a great playing & great feeling guitar. The action is low and the instrument plays with no buzzing or dead spots. We had this guitar set up with 12’s by our in-house luthier & it is ready to be played & loved for years to come.

Modifications: This guitar has a pickup installed.
