New Yamaha RevStar RS502TFMVJD serial number IQP123125.

This is a new guitar; however, it is a “B” stock. There is a slight cosmetic imperfection. Yamaha doesn’t tell us where. Out best guess is where the top meets the binding by the output jack (our photo close up makes it look worse than it actually is). This imperfection does not affect the integrity of the guitar nor the full factory warranty.

The Yamaha Revstar series is one of the most impressive electrics we’ve seen in a long time.

With custom appointments like its unique aluminum tailpiece, the RS502T is the purest expression of the Revstar concept – a guitar with looks and sounds that stand apart from the crowd. RS502TFM builds on this foundation with a flamed maple top and industrial-inspired hand-brushed finish. The classic C-shaped neck with jumbo frets and carefully contoured body ensure player comfort, while the Yamaha Guitar Development VP5 Alnico V P90 pickups and innovative Dry Switch filter offer inspiring tones that match the guitar's striking looks.

Designed especially for Revstar, the Yamaha proprietary Dry Switch gives you the versatility of a coil split, but with tone that's miles ahead. Using a passive filter circuit painstakingly designed to give the perfect frequency response, the Dry Switch filters out low frequencies to give additional clarity to the P-90 pickup. The Dry Switch works on both humbuckers and P90s for a totally unique, usable tone.
