1984 Yamaha SBG 3000 Maroon'burst
This is a really cool & rare early 1980s Yamaha SBG 3000 electric guitar which was their top of the line solid body at the time. Its got an unusual Black to Maroon Sunburst finish w/all gold hardware making this have a stunning appearence. Loaded w/a pair of very potent "Spinex" Humbucking pickups. Purchased by its 1 & only owner, Chris Campbell, back in 1984 & he played it just a few times. Other than being in need some polishing, its truly near mint in all respects. Made famous by Carlos Santana using an SBG 2000 in Black that was 1 level below this model. He also used a complete custom made version in natural for many years. It comes complete w/its original hard case.
