From our GuitarDesires.com brokerage client, here's a really neat rare Vintage Pearl Blue 1967 Yamaha SG-7A in phenomenal nearly near mint shape in her OHSC. This one is 100% original and only a superficial mark or two and the metallic blue is stunning and striking. No evidence of playwear and just a time capsule of Nippon Gakki's earliest solid bodies.
The Yamaha SG-7A was introduced in 1966 (as the SG-7 model) and discontinued in 1971. The SG-7A has a peculiar asymmetrical body with an elongated horn on the treble side and a hockey stick style headstock, the guitar was designed with the input of Japanese Eleki legend Takeshi Terauchi. This 6-string Yamaha electric guitar has 22 frets, Gold plated Coro tremolo type tailpiece, knobs and tuners. The SG-7A had three single coil pickups, two close together at the bridge and a slanted one at the neck.
