1982 SG1500
YAMAHA SG1500 was on the market from around 1981 to 1984, and its maple and mahogany neck is made of through-neck construction for excellent sustain and high playing performance up to the high position. Equipped with two humbucking pickups for a powerful sound. The humbucking pickups can be coil-tapped, which cancels one of the coils on the other side of the pickups, and the single pickups can also be used to produce a single sound with a prominent high frequency range, which is great for cutting. This is a highly playable SG model that combines the advantages of both the through neck (as in the SG2000) and the bi-sound system (as in the SG1000).
