SG2000MT is a reissued reproduction of the Takanaka Blue SG2000 used by Mr. Masayoshi Takanaka !
The SG2000MT was the first artist model of SG2000, and was sold in a limited edition of 220 pieces in 1998.
The SG2000MT is a reissue of the SG2000, which is the exact opposite of the SG2000, and features pegs similar in style to the OMG-I pegs of the time, as well as the control pots and fixed holes that were discontinued in the mid-1990s. The pegs are similar in style to the OMG-I pegs of the time, and the control pot fixing holes that were discontinued in the mid-1990s have been restored.
The PU is equipped with a special PU made for the SG2000MT, and the double white bobbin is one of its features, but it is a Western white pickup similar to the Spinex pickups used on other SGs of the same period.BassThe construction is a good combination of the two PUs, using a plate but an alnico V magnet similar to that of the OPG-I.
