YAMAHA's FG series started in 1966 with a light green label and added color to the Japanese music scene as the first original acoustic guitar made in Japan.

This time, we would like to introduce "THE FG" made in 2005. This model is a revival of the "red label" FG-180 with modern technology and a new interpretation. The most noticeable change is that the body is all-sawn veneer. Compared to the bold impression of the red-label period, the sound is clearer and more refined. The all-around sound is attractive with its bright high frequency range for everything from storytelling to solo playing.

The L.R. Baggs Lyric is also retrofitted, making it a practical piece.
