Yamaha tenor trombone Z series custom model with 8" single-piece yellow brass bell. 12.90mm bore slide. Outer slide made of yellow brass, end pipe made of nickel silver. Two interchangeable mouthpipes (*NY type and LA type). Gold lacquer brushed satin finish on bell and body. (Slide part is normal glossy lacquer paint finish.) Includes genuine hard case (shoulder strap included.) Made in 2019. List price 368,500 yen

[Condition.]
Only used for a short period of time. In beautiful condition with no noticeable scratches, paint damage, or dents. The inside of the pipe has been cleaned, soft mono has been replaced, the slide has been serviced, and various parts have been inspected.

[Features]
The first custom model of the Z series, released in 2009 under the supervision of both Wycliffe Gordon and Andy Martin. This model is based on the concept of jazz performance, but its character is in contrast to that of the 897Z, a later model in the same series. While the 897Z has a compact feel and sound, the 891Z has a rich sound with a large dynamic range. If you have ever wished the 897Z regular model had a bit more austerity and thickness to its well-balanced sound, this is the model for you!
