Yanagisawa Soprano saxophone S-99BL with high G key. Tube: Black lacquer finish. Key and bell inner: gold lacquer finish.3 necks included.(Brass black lacquer finish: straight & semi-curved,Silver lacquer: semi-curved). Thumb hook and thumb rest: bronze. Comes with genuine hard case, manufactured circa 1993.
[Condition.]
There are small areas of lacquer loss and scratches on the key, bell inner, neck (straight neck sides), and part of the thumb hook and thumb rest. Otherwise, there are no noticeable scratches, paint peeling, or history of accidents. The inside of the pipe has been cleaned, all tampos (genuine Yanagisawa), corks, and felts have been replaced, and the instrument has been overhauled and adjusted.

The S-99 (=990) is the flagship model of the Yanagisawa soprano saxophone line, produced in the early 1990s as the successor to the S-88 (=880), which was released in 1985. G key. The S-99 series was one of the first to be equipped with a high-G key. The combination of the black lacquer body and black lacquer neck produces a subdued dark tone.The silver neck adds softness and volume. Each has a neutral tone that can be used in a wide range of genres. The pitch balance is also good. Despite its cool appearance, it is a very friendly and individualistic instrument.
