After a slow start in 1958, the Fender Jazzmaster quickly picked up steam as an American classic. While never as popular as the Stratocaster or Telecaster, the Jazzmaster has gathered a cult following as a result of its unique offset styling and proprietary pickups and electronics. The Jazzmaster has been in production in some form since its introduction except for a short hiatus from 1982 to...
1962 Fender Jazzmaster. All original with the exception of a replaced decal. This beauty has some cosmetic wear but is in great shape. Perfectly worn in and feels fantastic! The body is lightweight and resonant. Pickups are strong and sound great. Smooth tremolo action and an all around joy the play! Includes hardshell case.
Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sunburst finish. The slab board neck is dated 1962, but everything on the body dates to 1964. The neck has been oversprayed, but the body is 100% original with all original, undisturbed solder joints. The tuning keys and string tree on the neck are also original, but the nut has been changed. It looks good with lots of nicks + dings, finish checking, and other...

Wicked cool Jazzy from Fender’s last & coolest period, right as Leo was selling his company to CBS, she has a clean 3-tone Sunburst finish, its rosewood neck has the last of the “Clay” dot inlays dated February 1965, its Tortoise’gard appears it could’ve been from the early 60’s as its so pepperoni-colored you can eat it, it’s in excellent clean all original condition & she comes with a nice...
Sunburst on alder body, nitro lacquer finish nicely aged and checked, rosewood fretboard with clay dot inlays, transition logo, back of neck nicely worn, neck dates Jan. ’65, all original with a cracked guard, in great shape overall, comes with the original black hard case. $4950 Go to www.williesguitars.com for more photos.
Over the past 9 months we have had 3 vintage Jazzmasters, a 62 and another 66, this one is cleaner and cooler than either of those. I do not believe a screw has ever been turned on this one ...I am selling this for the son of the original owner, who does not play guitar. I have no doubt I am the first one to ever take the neck off ! This is as good as it gets almost, minor dings in the neck from...
1965 Fender Jazzmaster, Sunburst, Gorgeous example, Tortoise pickguard, Attractive Bound fingerboard with Pearl dots, Transition logo, White knobs, Bridge cover, One owner, EC+, Clean Original Hard case, $5,595
1965 Fender Jazzmaster: Sunburst, very clean, late 1965 with bound neck and F plate, in excellent condition, rosewood board, pearl dots, B neck, all original, includes original trem bar and case keys, 7 lbs. 13 oz.
Very nice pre-CBS Jazzmaster in vibrant sunburst finish. This one's a very nice playing guitar. It's all original except one pickup and the back of the neck has overspray, otherwise it's totally original! The guitar comes with the original brown tolex case. The guitar has been played and has wear, small dings, etc... The tortoise pickguard has a few shrinkage cracks as it is celluloid. Overall,...
Vintage original 1963 Fender Jazzmaster in original Sunburst finish. This one is a fantastic, light and resonant example. Has a great feel and vibe. All correct and original. Original tuners have been off and put back on, they are original. Clay dots. Beautiful Rosewood fretboard. Guitar has signs of wear because it's a good one and it's been played. This one deserves a great home. ...

This Fender Jazzmaster was made in the USA in 1966. This is a very nice playing and sounding guitar that is really a joy to play. It is all original except for one tuner, and the original broken tuner is in the case. The guitar has been pro-setup and needs nothing. There are some black spots on the back of the body, not sure what caused them, you can see in the pictures, probably paint...
Remarkably clean and all original 1966 Fender Jazzmaster. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with binding with dots. Pickups are super warm, punchy and full of signature vintage Jazzmaster tone. Comes with original framed receipt of purchase from 1966!! Original case also very clean.
Take a look at this fantastic vintage Jazzmaster! The neck and headstock are pretty well worn and the back of the neck looks to have been shaved down a tiny bit by the previous owner but it has a smooth feel for really fast fretting. The body is so pristine (other than some light pick scratching) that it is probably safe to say that this might have received a refinish at some point. It also...
Just some buckle wear on back ...all the features you want Dots on a bound neck , Tortoise guard with White knobs . From Lex of The Les Paul Collection this guitar is all original with Roller Bar installed so plays like a pro (No Mods , easily Reversed) and the "L" series 1965's are the most sought after
Fender 1960 Jazzmaster. All original with original hard case. Very good condition, especially for a 54 year old instrument. Sound is incredible thick and rich it's tone is full and it ROARS!! Tortoise guard, floating tremolo, Brazillian Rosewood Slab Board.
The Fender Jazzmaster may not be as well known as the Fender classic Tele or Strat, but it should be! It is on a separate playing field in terms of looks, sounds, and playability. Featuring an offset-waist body, single-coil pickups designed specifically for the Jazzmaster, a Rosewood fingerboard, larger headstock, and an elegant nitrocellulose lacquer finish, the Fender American Vintage '65...
Fender debuted the Jaguar model in 1962 as the next jewel in the Offset Contour Body line. The Jaguar featured a slightly modified version of the Jazzmaster’s offset body, proprietary shielded single coil pickups, a rhythm/lead circuit with bass cut switch, a new “Fender Mute” bridge mute and the Jazzmaster’s tremolo and bridge system. Fender placed the Jazzmaster and Jaguar guitars at the top of...
