1943 Gibson LG-2

Call
Beautifull Gibson LG-2 Banner Sunburst from 1943. This LG-2 doesn't have a trusroad, and therefore have a bit of a fat neck... But still, very easy to play : Its action is very low. No neck reset were made...or needed actually. A bit of work was professionally done a while ago on the bridge (just re-glued) In terms of sound, well, this is quite simply one of the best picking guitar we've...

1962 Gibson LG-2 3/4

$1,695
This is a nice little guitar. There has been a center seam separation on the top which has been repaired from the soundhole to the bridge. A couple of cracks on the side have been repaired. Bridge looks to be newer, and some of the finish has chipped away on the sound hole edge of the bridge. Aside from that, normal nicks, dings and checking. Plays and sounds well.

1942 Gibson LG2 Banner

In thinking about this guitar the best description I can give is this, The guitar was purchased new in 1942 by a young man who then went into the U.S. armed forces like so many of the time without regards to their own personal sacrifices. He carried this guitar throughout the Pacific war campaign ans as providence would have it returned after the war with guitar in tow. The original owner by...

1967 Gibson B-25-12

$995
According to The Blue Book of Acoustic Guitars, the Gibson B series of acoustic guitars was the successor to the LG series largely phased out in the mid-1960s. Generally speaking, the B-15 replaced the LG-0, the B-20 replaced the LG-1, the B-25 replaced the LG-2, and the B-45 became a larger LG-2. (The 12-string Gibson LG-12 was made in very limited quantities from 1967-1973 since there was no...

Gibson B-15

$695
The Gibson B-15 was the last of the small-bodied B series (except for the 500 or so B-20s) with which Gibson briefly replaced the LG series. It was introduced in 1967, perhaps as a kind of travel guitar for the last of the hippie/folk music market of the 1960s and early ‘70s. The B-15 had a ladder-braced unbound spruce top and mahogany back, sides, and neck; a simple one-stripe rosette; and a...
