1949 Gibson SJ-200N

This guitar was sent back to Gibson in the 50's or 60's to have a new back put on. They were nice enough to use a spectacular piece of flamed maple! As was typical of the time, the serial # (A-3918) was stamped on the back of the headstock. The FON # on the neck block is 1300 4; both are consistent with the model year 1949.
