Martin D-18, 1966 VG. A solid all around guitar. Has had a recent neck reset by Mark Simon here in NJ. The action and the playability is terrific. One side crack was been repaired long ago and is a tad esque and there is one small well repaired crack on the top near the tortoise shell pick guard. This guitar has a narrow neck of the day.

SALE PRICE. From my personal collection... A completely ORIGINAL FINISH pre war Martin dreadnought. Guitar Aficianado estimated nearly three years ago that only around 1,800 D-18s were made in the pre war era. Of those made around half have been destroyed in the intervening 75-80 years. Among the half that do survive, half of those have been refinished. This one is one of the very rare pre war...

1954 Martin D-18

The Martin D-18 has been one of the benchmark, go-to guitars since it was introduced, and is very popular with fingerstyle and bluegrass players. The pairing of spruce for the top and mahogany for the back and sides produces a wonderfully articulate brilliance, yet full tone with a lot of clarity and separation. This example was built during 1954 at the C. F. Martin plant in Nazareth,...

Here is a one owner Martin D-18 from 1966. Very clean guitar. Has a couple small knicks and some very slight pick wear and finish crazing. It is of course 100% original: finish, nut and saddle, frets, American-made Grover Rotomatic tuners, pickguard and all that, and never needed repairs of any kind other than the...
