This Alamo El Dorado was made in the USA in the mid 1960's. It has been refinished red, quite crudely. The pickups look different than I have seen on other Alamos, but they don't look like any other pickups I have ever seen. I suspect they are not original but am not entirely sure. The guitar plays well, and it comes with its original case. Alamo guitars are rare and very cool, and represent a less told aspect of the story of vintage American guitars.
