This Gibson ES-335 was made in the USA in 1967. The Sparkling Burgundy finish faded and oxidized very inconsistently, and this example has turned a deep dark purple color that largely obscured the metallic quality of the finish. The guitar clearly spent a lot of time in a smokey environment, and while there is no odor, the finish is somewhat damaged by the smoke exposure. This is especially true on the back of the neck where the finish has flaked off in some spots, but not others, creating a rough feel in some positions. There are no breaks or repairs, but there are numerous dings, dents, scratches, etc... and heavy finish checking. The guitar plays great and sounds fantastic. All the parts are original. It comes with a non original hard case.
