This Gibson HG-24 is an extremely rare guitar. This was the fanciest of the HG line. It has a beautiful rosewood back and sides. These originally had internal resonators which did not work, and the internal resonator on this guitar was removed long ago. The result is a pre-war, slope shouldered, rosewood Gibson flat top that sounds incredible. The only other full (16 inch body) sized pre-war Gibson acoustic with rosewood back and sides was the advanced jumbo. This guitar has been oversprayed, and there is some visable cosmetic damage around the bridge. The bridge and tuners are not original. It is in very good playing condition and does not need any work. It comes with a non original hard shell case.
