Let me preface this by saying that I own a 1937 Gibson L-00 and it has been my go to guitar for many years. With that in mind, I cab safely say that this guitar sounds at least as good as my Gibby. Dana's version has all the quick attack, punch and strong mids as my old buddy. Very funky and bluesy with strong fundamentals. And it plays like a complete dream. Low and easy action with a great feeling soft V neck profile - good for the vintage guy but a little slimmed down for todays player who wants a bit slimmer profile. Utilizing Bourgeois' Aged Tone torrefaction technology, this guitar combines vintage small-body character and bark with Dana's signature articulation and response. The result is a versatile instrument with tons of personality, perfect for finger-style blues, old-time accompaniment, and comfortable couch-playing.
