Offered for sale;
Used 1966 Ampeg Reverbrocket 2 GS-12R serial number 036541.
This amp is in very good condition and fully functional. Cosmetically there is the slightest wear on the blue diamond covering, primarily the corners. This is one of the nicest we’ve seen.
Maintenance has been performed including replaced filter and electrolytic capacitors, new grounded power cable, tube sockets tightened and pots cleaned.
Currently loaded with the iconic JBL D120F (8ohm). We could swap it out with a 1965 Jensen C12P but, in our opinion, the JBL really brings out the best in this amp.
The Reverbrocket 2 GS-12R is an 18-watt one channel amp with tremolo and echo. There are 2 inputs marked Guitar and Accordion. The controls feature bass, treble, volume, with tremolo intensity and depth, and echo (reverb) intensity.
This amp must have spent most of its life with a very meticulous player. From the squared off masking tape above the tube chart stating “Bought 1966” to the JBL speaker and the overall cleanliness of the amp it was nothing-but-the-best for this guy. How ‘bout you?
“We test every used amp and pedal when we buy it and bring it up to our standards before we offer it for sale. Then we burn it in for an hour or so before we ship so that there are no surprises.”

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every
mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be
important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.
This is a specific item that is also being offered for sale in our brick & mortar location. It is possible that it has just been sold. Please ask if it is still available before purchasing.
