Unique to this Year: For 2012, Fender added a belly-cut contour on the back of the body, upgraded the electronics with a pair of magnificent-sounding Custom Shop pickups, a Twisted Tele in the neck position and Broadcaster at the bridge. All New Five-Screw Mounted Brass Bridge Plate for Sonic Stability, Loaded with Improved Bent Steel Saddles with Elongated String Slots, for Increased Resonance and Sustain, and a thinner undercoat for Improved Body Resonance.
