Used 1965 Fender Deluxe Amp AA763 serial number A05301.
This amp is in good condition, fully functional and cosmetically showing minor tolex imperfections. Overall, quite nice.
Maintenance has been performed including cleaning and caps. There have been a couple of changes. Most obvious it the re-grille (The hue of the grille is more accurate in the frontal photo than in the two side shots). The speaker is now a 1969 Jensen C12N. The output transformer is a recent Fender. The filter cap “dog house” is not original. The on/off switch is new.
Well known for decades the “Deluxe” is a timeless workhorse guitar amp, moderately powered with the tonal richness and touch-sensitive dynamics that define Fender amps.
Heard on countless recordings and on countless stages this is the fantastic sparkling-clean sound and warm breakup when pushed, Fender’s famous "blackface" amps are prized by guitarists everywhere.
This point to point wired amp will take you where you want to go. Serious WOW factor without that pesky reverb!
We test every used amp and pedal when we buy it and bring it up to our standards before we offer it for sale. Then we burn it in for an hour or so before we ship so that there are no surprises. To prevent damage, we often remove the tubes and pack them separately when we ship an amp. Let us know if you are not comfortable reinstalling them.
