Offered for sale;
Used 1991 Gibson ES-335 Reissue serial number 92491390.
This guitar is in very good condition, neck and frets are fine. Cosmetically showing some finish checking and playing wear without abuse. There is some fading of the nickel pickup covers. Normal wear for its age.
The Gibson ES-335 Dot has been known by more than one name over the last three decades, but it's undoubtedly singular in its popularity as one of Gibson's most well-known reissues. First known as the ES-335 Dot, then renamed the ES-335 Reissue in the '90s, this instrument is based on the technical specs of its 1960s predecessor.
The ES-335 truly is a legendary design. Combining the warmth of a hollow body with the sustain of a solid body. The body construction is laminated maple with a maple sustain block and hollow side wings.
The set mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Original 57 Classic Humbuckers are featured as well as Grover Rotomatic tuners, a stopbar tailpiece and Tune-o-matic bridge.
Cherished by many artists such as BB-King, Eric Clapton, Chuck Berry, George Harrison, Dave Grohl and Larry Carlton.
Beautiful example of a great guitar!
Hard-shell case included.

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.
