Offered for sale:
Used 2005 Hamer Vector Korina serial number 554090.
This guitar is in excellent condition showing limited playing time, there is some slight wear on the pickup covers.
The Vector Korina is an homage to the original Gibson 1958 Flying V. The Hamer Korina Vector is the 4th most iconic V you can own. The 1st is the original 1958 (about 50 times this price). The 2nd is the 2008 50th anniversary reissue (at 10 time the price). The 3rd is the 1981 Gibson reissue of the ’58 (as much as twice the price). And then there is this dead-on Hamer replica made by one of the finest guitar companies of all time.
Featuring all Korina construction, tune-o-matic bridge and V-shaped tail plate with string through body, Kluson style tuners, Seymour Duncan '59 humbuckers, Korina neck with 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, and gold hardware.
The Korina wood, also known as African white mahogany and limba, lends to some interesting tonal characteristics as opposed to other 'V' shaped guitars made from common mahogany. This guitar is very resonant when played acoustically and rich with harmonic overtones when plugged in. There are many that feel this is a better sounding instrument than the original Gibson.
This is a great guitar, if you have a spot in your heart for a Flying V, this is the one to take home!
Original fitted hard shell case included.

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.
