Offered for sale:
A one owner 1977 Ibanez 2650CS serial number A775782.
This guitar is in very good condition, neck and frets are fine. Cosmetically showing playing time. There is a small chip in the finish on the top above the neck pickup.
This is obviously Ibanez’s attempt at an “LP”. And quite a good one at that. Most of us are aware of the “law suit” era of Ibanez instruments. Gibson brought suit to Ibanez over the details of the Ibanez version and eventually settled on the headstock being a copy of the Gibson “open book” design. Ibanez modified the headstock and continued to produce the guitar.
With the modified headstock design, this guitar is technically not considered a “law suit” model, but is from that era.
This really is quite a nice guitar. It plays well and with the Super 70 Anti-Hum pickups it sounds great. The original toggle switch was damaged and has been replaced. The original bridge shows a lot of wear and has also been replaced. The original switch and bridge are included.
Own a piece of high end Japanese electric guitar history!
Hard shell Gibson case included. (Back in ’77 the store was out of Ibanez cases so the original owner bought this Gibson case instead.)

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.
