Description

Gibson HG-00 converted from the Hawaiian setup with rare maple back and sides.. Sunburst finish throughout showcasing the exceptional curly maple.Twelve frets clear of the body and a solid peghead with “Gibson” stenciled white. The neck is reshaped slightly to a comfortable, vintage-style V profile with1-7/8" nut.The frets are newer and setup if spot on.

It’s in good condition with the exception of three repaired temperature cracks south of the bridge and a tight crack that runs parallel to the fingerboard. The finish is shiny and fresh looking with only a couple of areas where is has worn to the wood. The insides are clean and original with the exception of three cleats stabilizing the cracks.

It’s fun to play. The 12-fret neck makes everything feel accessible. The frets feel nice and fresh. Overall, the sound reminds me of a punchy L-00 with more cut and snap. Perfect for blues and ragtime. Ships with a newer Martin 00-sized case with plush interior.
