2008 Guild® F-30 Special Reserve Brazilian Near Mint, Original Hard, $8,000.00

Here is a very rare opportunity to own an absolutely top, top Guild guitar, which I will call unique since as far as I know only two were ever made and the location of the other, if it even exists, is lost in time. In 2008, my store became the top independent Guild dealer in America, having sold more Guild guitars than any other non-chain guitar store or music store in the country. In honor of this achievement, the Guild Company, which at the time was owned by Fender, made me a surprise presentation on the floor of the annual NAMM show, our industry's trade-only event, of this gorgeous, one-of-a-kind (well, maybe two) Brazilian Rosewood Model F-30 guitar, built specially for the occasion and for me. It is a stunning instrument, with gorgeous woods throughout and spectacular tone to match. Inside, it has two labels: one is the regular Guild Guitar label of the day with the serial number and “F-30 Special Reserve” hand-inked on it; the other says "SPECIAL RESERVE MADE IN TACOMA, WASHINGTON USA / PRESENTED TO / MATT UMANOV GUITARS / IN APPRECIATION OF YOUR SUPPORT OF GUILD” and is hand signed by Bill Mendello, then-Presidsnt of Fender, who was (and I’m sure still is) an absolutely terrific person, and probably the only Mensa member in our industry. This guitar has been in its case since the day I got it, has literally not been touched and is in absolutely mint condition. I have so many guitars at this point in my life that quite frankly, I think it should have a new home where someone will appreciate it daily, and so I am offering it for sale. $8000 w/ohsc
