This vintage original circa 1966 SUPRO Arlington S655 in original White finish was the top of the line for Supro circa 1966. Stunning.
Features original 3 pickup design: Two humbucker sized single coils and the "bridgetone" or piezo pickup built into the rosewood bridge. This combination is the same as the hugely sought after Supro Martinique guitar. The piezo pickup is the secret a lot of Dan Auerbach's tone on the Black Keys Brother and El Camino album. You can get this really biting hollow type tone that is awesome. The guitar features individual volume controls for each pickup, a series of tone switches and "on" "off" switches for each pickup. The tonal possibilities are almost endless. Guitar has incredible tone.
The neck features vintage style frets that show very little wear and she plays wonderfully.
Original Bigsby vibrato works great and the guitar plays with a good low action and stays in tune, too!
Comes with vintage original case as pictured.
