Before you ask, the answer is NO...this is not a one-piece top! For many years, this guitar affectionately known as 'Ralphie' was thought by some to have a one-piece top, but I assure you it doesn't. The flame is well-matched, with total coverage and moderate depth. The color has faded to a pale cherry-burst bordering on 'Iced Tea', but very pretty nonetheless. The overall condition is about an 8+ out of 10 with light checking and some belt scar in the waist area; someone played this Jimmy Page style! It's got a pretty beefy neck yet comfortable, and it's been re-fretted with jumbo wire so it plays like butter. It's had Schallers on it, but original tuners have been put back and the six extra screw holes have been filled. Both PAF's are double whites that read 9.3k ohms and 8.3k ohms, both covers have been removed and one is missing. The weight comes in at 9.25 pounds but it's well balanced and doesn't seem that heavy. Comes with an original 5-latch brown Lifton case.
