We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express for phone orders, email orders, and in-store purchases. Secure online payments can also be made through our website at www.spindriftguitars.com (which will be active soon) and our PayPal account. We will gladly accept personal checks but there may be a shipment delay while the check clears our bank. For international purchases, we strongly encourage Bank Wire Transfers. We also do not offer consignment items internationally unless we choose to make an exception.

The prices listed on our website do not include shipping charges or any applicable taxes, duties, or custom fees. Instruments shipped within Connecticut are subject to a 6.35% sales tax. All out-of-state shipments are tax-free though we do recommend you look into your individual state's tax codes to determine any tax liabilities. Our store's General Manager, John Van Ness, has been selling and shipping guitars around the world for 25+ years. Your instrument will be expertly packed and shipped via FedEx, UPS, or US Postal Service, depending on the destination and level of service required. If you have a preferred method, let us know.

All NEW instruments carry a 48 hour evaluation period unless otherwise noted. SOME pre-owned guitars will also qualify. Consignment goods do not apply. Upon receiving your new instrument, please inspect it to assure that the condition of the instrument is as described in your communication with us. Please contact us immediately via phone or email if you find any damage to the case or instrument that wasn't previously disclosed at time of purchase. If you decide to return the instrument, you must notify us via phone or email within 48 hours of delivery. We'll instruct you on how to make the return. Please pack the instrument in the exact same manner in which it was received, using all supplied packing materials. Unless instructed otherwise, you must ship the instrument using the same carrier by which it was delivered. You need to make certain you insure the instrument for its full value. Provided the instrument arrives back to us in the condition it left our shop, Spindrift Guitars will issue a refund for the full purchase price less a 5% restocking fee for all credit card returns. This fee covers any and all charges we've incurred in processing your transaction. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Any instruments returned without our authorization will be refused.
