Wood's Choice Guitars
Home of Genuine American Beauty
Wood's Choice Guitars was born from my personal passion for bonafide American-made vintage guitars, love of playing, and background in customer service. We ship worldwide and will sell your guitar for you, so consignments are welcomed and encouraged. I grew up in a town known for it's live music in Austin, TX, where I fell in love with music. I attended college at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, where while I came out with a marketing degree in 2003, I started honing my guitar chops by taking bluegrass guitar lessons from some guys going to nationally renowned South Plains College of Music. I learned about vintage and rare guitars around this time as well. My passion for guitar and music grew as I hit the road where I was privileged to room and play with fabulous musicians. I am always searching and discovering new and old music and the guitars that make them. I have always loved to go see as much music as possible and my favorite venue has to be Red Rocks. My own playing has ventured into electric and I will include electrics in my inventory eventually. We will focus on what I know and love to play. Mostly Martin, Gibson, and Fender guitars made in times when guitars were just made with more love and quality. My background has been mostly in sales and I am now getting to sell what I love the most! The client always comes first and will be treated with the utmost kindness and respect. I love people and especially people who love guitars, so I am always up for a chat or a chance to help.
