The "1964 ES-335 Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aged" model has been aged by Murphy Lab, a team led by Tom Murphy that specializes in aging guitars.
The lightest of the four stages of aging, this model has been aged to replicate a vintage guitar that has been carefully stored in a case.
It is a reproduction of the 1964 specs with a slightly slimmer horn, short pickguard, block position markers, nylon bridge, double ring Kluson tuners, etc.
Weighing 3.41 kg, it is relatively lightweight for an ES-335 model. The neck shape is "64 Medium C," which is slightly thicker than the early 60s models, and an un-potted Custombucker pickups are installed.
There is a paint chip on the neck heel.
There are no signs of play wear, no fret wear and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
