1960 Gretsch Country Gentleman Model 6122 Chet Atkins Walnut

Here is a rare and beautiful 1959/60 Gretsch Country Gentleman model 6122. This early single cut Gent has all the classic features of this era , the F-holes are original plastic inserts , not painted on , the original finish shows regular players wear , the binding has had some small re glued repairs with a bit of overspray on the repair, it all fits in with the look and age of the guitar . One pot has been replaced , all other electronics and pickups are original , the tuners are original but another set had been installed at some point with 4 small filled holes visible , all other hardware is original to the guitar .The top and back have a deep flame and look fantastic . The guitar is structurally sound with no breaks , the neck angle is perfect and it plays and sounds great . Another vintage Gretsch survivor . w/OHSC
