Description

Oh what a luscious guitar! Offered is this superb Custom OMS built by Dana Bourgeois in 2011. This 12-fret instrument has a 25.5" scale length, 1.75" bone nut and 2 5/16" string spacing. Originally commissioned by Maple Leaf Music, this one-off guitar is a sonic masterpiece. It's tone is much more substantial on the bass side than most small bodied Koa guitars, while maintaining the rich harmonics and shimmer that Koa is known for. This guitar is also a piece of luthier art, as the folks at Maple Leaf had Dana bestow this guitar with all manner of cosmetic delights, including: a nearly spotless, straight-grained Italian Spruce top; Curly Koa for the back and sides; Cocobolo binding; a wood tile rosette; herringbone backstrip; Ziricote headstock overlay; and Snakewood buttons for the Waverly tuners. This thing is gorgeous! Condition wise, this guitar is in near mint condition with strum marks on the pickguard being the only flaws I have found. It comes with it's original case in similarly fine condition. If you have been looking for a small bodied guitar that is something very special, give this beautiful Bourgeois a good look. Exceptionally nice!
