The City Limits is of course Collings' take on the classic Les Paul design. Once you've played one of these, however, it is quite likely you will prefer the Collings. This is the full-tilt Deluxe model and it's specs include: a mahogany body and neck with upgraded premium quilt maple top with a total guitar weight of just 8.0 pounds; a high gloss nitrocellulose light caramel finish; nicely figured Indian rosewood fretboard; medium/fat "C" shape neck like a '59 LP; 12" fretboard radius; 1 11/16" bone nut; 24 7/8" scale length; long mortise/tenon neck joint; fully-adjustable truss rod; medium 18% nickel/silver frets; grained ivoroid binding on the top, neck and headstock; ebony headstock overlay with inlaid logo; MOP parallelogram fretboard inlays; ivoroid pickup rings and top hat knobs; Lollar Imperial humbuckers with CTS 500K pots and Xicon caps; Tonepros AVR-II bridge and tailpiece; Gotoh SG301 tuners with vintage style buttons; and a deluxe hardshell case by Ameritage. This guitar is in mint/near mint condition with not a flaw to be found. This guitar would be over $5K new and even then it would be difficult to find one with a top as nice as this. Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included. Sale items, purchases that are made via layaway, those involving trades and/or international shipping are considered final except upon an error by and at the discretion of Capital Guitars.
