Offered is this scrumptious '54 white guard Tele built by the Custom Shop in 2013. The specs for this beauty include: a two piece Ash body with Vintage Blonde see-though lacquer finish and a total weight of just 7.0 pounds; a very soft 10/56 V-shaped Maple neck with depth measurements of .887" at the first fret and .987" at the twelfth fret, a 9.5" fret board radius, 6105 frets and a 1.650" bone nut; and for electronics, a Broadcaster single coil in the bridge position and a Twisted Tele in the neck position. This guitar was special ordered with very light Closet Classic aging which is limited essentially to clear coat swirling and the lightest of neck wear - no finish checking, gouges or significant aging of the metal parts. Besides being a particularly pretty Tele, this baby plays and sounds fabulous. It is lively and resonant and gives you the Tele twang you are looking for without being piercing. This guitar is in excellent condition, with just one bump on the top near the neck joint that does not appear to be part of the factory aging (see photo). The frets show light play wear only. Includes it's original center-pocket tweed case, the certificate, the factory spec sheet and all the accessories. This is a super white guard Tele, so make it yours!

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. A phone number at the shipping destination is required. Other shipping services, including express services and international shipping are available at our discretion, just contact us for a quote.
Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included. Sale items, purchases that are made via layaway, those involving trades and/or international shipping are considered final except upon an error by and at the discretion of Capital Guitars.
