Description

I am always astounded when I receive a magnificent guitar such as this that has been played so little. Guitars like this would be tough for me to keep my hands off! There are lots of reasons for this of course and the fact that it happens allows me to include such masterpieces in my inventory in near mint condition. Offered here is a fabulous Froggy H-14 Deluxe built in December of 2003. This incredible 000/OM-size guitar has a body made entirely of highly figured Koa with a Mahogany neck. The fretboard and bridge are Ebony and the binding is Curly Maple. The bone nut measures 1.75" wide, the scale length is 25.25" and the string spacing is 2 3/16". Besides being over-the-top gorgeous, this guitar is also a sonic delight. Listen to the sound sample below and hear for yourself, but this beauty can sing! It has plenty of punch in the low and middle registers, but also has great clarity and note definition in it's top end. And of course, it has that unique Froggy "chime" that I do enjoy so much. The playability of this instrument is superb, with a medium/low setup and lots of remaining saddle. The condition of this 12 year old instrument is amazing. The cosmetic condition is near mint with virtually nothing in the way of flaws except for a few hard to see strum marks on the pickguard - even the headstock is free of string change scratches and the frets look nearly flawless as well. It comes with it's original AVS/TKL case in very good condition. A new example of this incredible instrument would cost well over $10K, but you can have this amazingly well-preserved example for far, far less. This is a very special instrument, both in it's cosmetics and in it's sound. Make it yours!
