Summary: This G&L is number 74 of a limited edition of 100 guitars produced in 2007 in honor of Leo Fender’s wife, Phyllis. Featuring a specially blended custom “Blondie Blonde” finish and pearl accents, and hand-signed by Phyllis herself on the back of the neck, this is a beautiful, versatile and unique instrument for the player or collector.

Body: Two-piece swamp ash. Custom blended "Blondie Blonde" finish.

Neck: Hard rock maple. Full round carve. Polished Gloss finish. 1 5/8” Width at Nut. 12”radius. Medium Jumbo 6100 fret-wire. Hand-signed by Phyllis Fender on back of headstock.

Pickups/Hardware: Three Alnico V vintage wound single coil pickups. 5-Way pickup selector. Volume knob. PTB tone system: Bass roll-off (applies to all pickups) and Treble roll-off (applied to all pickups) with Push/Pull function enabling additional pickup combinations of neck and bridge or all 3 pickups together. G&L/Schaller tuners with pearl pegs. G&L dual fulcrum bridge.

Cosmetics: This guitar is a beauty with its super clean custom Blonde finish, shining chrome and pearl accents. There is barely any signs of wear on the instrument and the frets are fat and full. There is a small ding on the side of the guitar by where the players arm rests.

Playability: The big round neck is comfortable and substantial feeling. This coupled with a set of medium jumbo frets makes for a smooth, fast playing experience perfect for runs and bends. The single coil pickups dish out classic Strat sounds while the unique switching and tone system provides extended variety and flexibility.
