  • Bio: Greetings and welcome from all of us at Empire Guitars! Owner Jeff Keithline has been a professional musician for 40 plus years and an avid participant in all aspects of music making. When he and business partner Michael Goldstein opened a new Empire Loan location in 2006, Jeff saw an opportunity to expand Empire's modest vintage guitar retail business into the store he had always dreamed of. He hired two gentlemen experienced in various aspects of the music world (including current store manager Mike Samos) and together they laid the groundwork for actualizing Jeff's vision. Their goal was to create a space not just about selling instruments, but also about knowledge sharing and community; a place where guitar lovers congregate and musicians come to discuss the tools of their trade. Since its humble beginnings, Empire Guitars has grown into one of the best vintage and used instruments stores on the New England area. We specialize in vintage instruments from the turn of the century to the 1960's and quality used instruments from the 70's to today. We are always buying, selling, and trading quality instruments between the hours of 10am-7pm Monday thru Friday and 9am-6pm Saturday here in Providence, Rhode Island. See you soon!!!

    • Payment: We accept credit cards over the phone or pay pal (there is an additional 3% fee for using paypal.
    • Shipping: We ship to select international locations. International shipping can become quite expensive. We will not falsify value on customs forms EVER! Please don't ask.
    • Returns: 14 days in same condition as it left the shop. Buyer pays shipping both ways.
