Offered is a particularly nice Sunrise Tea Burst 2014 R9 for your consideration. This beauty was built just before the switch-over to the 2015 model run, in December, 2014. This example weighs an incredibly light 8.2 pounds (8 pounds, 3.5 ounces)! The neck carve on this one measures a depth of .903" at the 1st fret and .993" at the 12th and it feels terrific. It's tone rings like a bell without the midrange muddiness that you sometimes find with LP's. This guitar can sparkle or attack, whichever you prefer and the new pickups are superb. As a 2014 model, this one has of course received all the improvements Gibson made to the 2013 and later LP Reissues, including the use of hot hide glue to mount the long tenon neck joint, more accurate aniline dyes and binding material, new improved 'Custom Bucker' pickups, no surround on the truss rod, and so on. This guitar is in unplayed condition. As a VOS model, it comes from the factory with a light finish patina and mild aging of the metal and plastic parts. It comes with the original brown Lifton-style case, the certificate of authenticity and hang tags. A 2015 example will cost you $6K, save yourself more than a grand $ on this very light, late 2014 model, in as new condition. Superb!

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included.
