Description
Summary: No one would bat an eye if you called the 1959 Les Paul the most legendary vintage guitar of all time. It's certainly rare enough for one to stake such a claim, since less than 650 were ever made (roughly eight percent of Gibson's total production that year.). More importantly, they were some of the best-sounding electric guitars. This Wildwood Spec 1959 Les Paul Standard has a beautiful Green Lemon Fade finish and a set of great sounding Wildwood Spec Custombuckers.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of use. The pickup covers have light surface scratches, and the pickguard has regular wear. There are two small chips in the finish on the back of the headstock (See Photos Please). This probably happened when the guitar was hung on a metal or hard plastic hanger. The back of the neck is clean and smooth, and the frets show light to no wear.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

This guitar ships in the original hard-shell case with COA, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
