Offered is this near mint 2014 Gibson J-45 True Vintage. Gibson's marketing tells us that this guitar offers the build methods, materials, looks, tone and feel of the original and legendary J-45. Marketing verbage aside, you will LOVE this guitar! The specs include: an Adirondack Spruce top with hand-sprayed nitro lacquer vintage sunburst finish; Honduran Mahogany back and sides; Adirondack Spruce x-bracing; slim taper-shaped 14-fret Mahogany neck; a 24.75" scale Indian Rosewood fret board with 12" radius, 1.725" bone nut and MOP dot inlays; traditional Rosewood belly bridge with bone saddle; Nickel twin-line tuners with cream buttons; gold script and Banner decal on the headstock; and brown tolex vintage style case with pink lining. This guitar feels and sounds great as soon as you pick it up. It is very responsive to your playing style. The rich, thick woody tone of this instrument is immediately familiar to anyone who has listened to folk/rock/country music of the last half decade. Gibson has given this guitar a buffed satin finish to make it look and feel vintage right out of the box. This 2014 beauty has seen only light play and is in near mint condition with no dings or impressions, not even any pick marks. Comes with it's similarly mint and very cool brown case and uninstalled pickguard. Gibson did a superb job on this model and the result is a great vintage style acoustic that is sure to please!
