Summary: Also known as the Slim Jim, the T-100 was a thin body archtop, produced by Guild from 1958 until 1973. The T-100D refers to the version with two single-coil pickups. This guitar used an all Maple body and P-90-esque single-coil pickups. Our in house guitar tech has just set this Guild up with a new set of 10s and it is playing great. The case is in pretty rough shape but it is included and we will ship it fully packed, padded and insured!

Body: Maple single cutaway thin hollow body guitar with sunburst finish and cream binding.

Neck: The mahogany neck has a bound rosewood fingerboard, 24 3/4” scale length and1 5/8” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: It has 2 single coil pickups with chrome covers, Grover butterbean tuners, 3 way switch, 2 volumes, 2 tones, original Guild knobs, rosewood floating bridge with compensated intonation and G branded tailpiece. The pickups are wired so it is out-of-phase in the middle position.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in fine vintage shape with a few dings and dents, wear around the edges of the body, buckle rash, pick scratches, and some finish checking. There is a 4” scratch in the back of the neck which is just finish level, another scratch by the upper bout which is visible but pretty shallow, some scuffs around the bottom side by the output jack and some finish cracks by the bass side F hole. The floating bridge has a small crack running parallel with the bridge post, it appears to be holding up just fine for now but maybe some glue in the future will help it stay put. The plastic headstock overlay has shrunk back a bit and has been reglued. The back of the headstock was oversprayed, perhaps to help blend in some finish touch up on the back of the headstock by the tuners. .

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots but just a bit of fret sizzle in a few places, nothing major. The bridge has been lowered as far as it will go on the treble side.

Modifications: The back of the headstock has been oversprayed and the overlay has been reglued.

Weight: 6 lbs, 1.5 oz.

Case: The original brown case is in really rough shape but it is included. We will ship it professionally packed and fully insured!
