2006 Paul Reed Smith CE-22 Mahogany Tobacco Burst, Excellent, Original Hard, $1,050.00

This fine mid-2000s PRS CE-22 features a 22 fret bolt-on one-piece maple neck, dual Dragon II humbucking pickups, and a double-cut mahogany top. A 5-way rotary switch (similar to the Varitone switch found in select Gibson models) allows for a wide multitude of sonic options and the Dragon II pickups have a fantastic balance of edge and clarity that makes this CE-22 an excellent guitar for a wide variety of musical genres and playing styles. The combination of the mahogany body, bolt-on neck, rotary switch, and humbuckers make this CE-22 a very unique sounding yet versatile instrument. The top sports a gorgeous dark brown/black “tobacco burst” finish that still allows the beautiful mahogany grain underneath to breathe. The PRS locking tuning machines and PRS 6-saddle vibrato system allow for maximal tuning stability and improved intonation. The neck has a wide/fat profile that is very comfortable to play. The guitar is in amazing shape with extremely minimal wear (only very light scratches on the back of the body). It was very well-cared for by the previous owner. It is on the heavier side, weighing in at just a hair under 10 lbs. The guitar has been set-up by our in-house tech and plays great with nice and low action and the 22 frets have lots of life ahead of them.
