Description

What a sweet OM guitar! Offered is near mint 2013 OM from Santa Cruz. This beautiful instrument is Santa Cruz' "standard" OM model with: a Sitka Spruce top with herringbone rosette and purfling; Indian Rosewood for the back and sides with zipper pattern back stripe and ivoroid binding; a soft V-shaped Mahogany neck with volute; a bound Ebony fretboard with 25.375" string length, 1.75" nut and 2 3/16" string spacing; a bound headstock with Ebony overlay and SCGC inlay; a tortoise pickguard; and nickel Waverly tuners. As with most high-end OM guitars, this instrument has power that belies it's relatively small size. It is a very articulate guitar that fingerstyle players will appreciate but it responds well to a flat pick. The tone is rich with lots of harmonics. This gorgeous Santa Cruz is in near mint condition and seems to have seen only light fingerstyle play. The frets look like new and the only blemishes are a few string change scuffs on the headstock and light finger marks on the pickguard; the body seems otherwise unmarked. It comes with it's original Ameritage case and paperwork. A new example will set you back $4,500. Get this near mint example for substantially less. A superb, ultra-high quality OM instrument at a great price!
