1952-1957 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop Conversion

This guitar started out as an all original 1952 P90 Goldtop Les Paul. All woods, (mahogany body, maple top, mahogany neck, Brazilian fingerboard), Inlays, Body & Neck Bindings are original to the guitar. This guitar is very resonant & lightweight at 8lbs 4oz

Conversion includes keeping original finish plus the following:
Steam Out Original Neck (Headstock had a crack that I glued back together-it is Solid)
Rework Neck Pocket (Hide glue & Mahogany shim)
Reset Neck To 4 Degrees With Hide Glue/Add Mahogany Shim Under Fingerboard
Touch Up Finish Around Neck Pocket / Repair Neck Binding on Bass side by Nut
Plug P90 Cavities then Route For Humbuckers

Original 52 Parts Include: Tuners, Truss Rod Cover, Recut Pickguard, Pickguard bracket, Switch, Tip, Harness, Back Plates, Strap Buttons, End piece of 52 Trap Bridge, Input Jack, Jack Plate and Case

Original 1950’s Parts Include: 1957 CTS Pots & Bumble Bees, 1959 Zebra Gibson PAF, 1964 Gibson Pat Sticker Pickup

Repro Parts Include: ThroBak Rings, Knobs, CreamTone ABR1 Bridge & Featherweight Tailpiece. Refret with Jescar 57110 wire and new nut.
