o Original 1953 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop S/N 3 07xx
o post PAF pickups (pre T-Top) with original covers (fantastic examples).
The following was completed by Jim:
o Steam out neck, change neck angle to a correct 4 degree
o Pull binding back/add 4 degree to top
o replace fingerboard and binding
o Glue the neck in with hot hide glue
o refret with 6100 frets.
o Original parts: back plates, switch & harness, input jack, truss rod cover, strap buttons, inlays, body binding
o finish by Historic Makeovers using nitrocellulous lacquer.
Parts:
o Repro parts: 50’s style Royalite body binding on neck, Callaham bridge with 2” brass studs, retrospect 1” tailpiece inserts and 1-1/2” studs, pickguard, pickup rings, switch ring, bone nut
o headstock face has the original finish
o new CTS pots
o Correct .022 Bumble Tone Caps
o Featherweight Tailpiece
o Gibson Top Hat Knobs
o original 4 latch case or new case
