~1950 Alamo Model 6

This is a rare Model 6 Alamo Amp. You don’t see many Model 6 Alamo’s. This one has the rare ALAMO white pushbuttons, which I have not seen on any other examples, and the original “refrigerator door” handle. Has the original Jensen P15N speaker which I had re-coned professionally for $150.00.

I had a qualified amp tech examine this one and install a 3 prong cord, and replace the two potentiometers. If you are collector of these, you are probably up to speed on them and the nature of the circuitry on these, which to me is unique.

This one has seen better days, but a lot of these wood cab Alamo’s are in less than pristine condition. This is missing some of the original screws, and is what I consider a survivor example, more than a mint museum example. This only has two of the original back panel screws. A prior owner installed an outlet on the back panel, which is no longer connected to anything. The white push buttons will need some work to stick onto the metal prongs correctly.

This one is heavy, and it’s going to ship in a big box. All amps are sold “as is” “no returns” “no refunds” due to the nature of the electronics and it’s age. Will be well packed for shipping.
