1970's Alvarez 5024 Dove - Refin

This is what it sounds like when doves cry?  Maybe not, but this is one of the classic lawsuit guitars from the 70's, this one has been refinished on the front from natural to a cherry sunburst finish to possibly try to match the back and sides of the guitar.  This was done by Saint Louis Music, their emblem is on the back of the headstock.  Guitar sounds good, has medium action, definitely played over the years, but there's still some fret life left.  It has plenty of nicks as do most 40+ year old guitars do.  There are several spots where you can see the outline of tape on the guitar when they were doing the refinish.  This one includes a George L pop in humbucking acoustic pickup.  Solid spruce top, mahogany back, sides, and neck. The tune-o-matic bridge makes this a real player if you like low action on an acoustic.
