Description

I’ll bet a bunch of you out there know exactly who made this and what it’s from; what I know is that it’s rare, it’s American-made, and it's from a top-grade American 1910s-30s guitar; I just can’t remember where I’ve seen these before or where I got it, at least forty years ago. For a slotted-head guitar, bass side/gear-under. Gold-plated, floral-pattern plate decor done in real hand-engraving, definitely not the usual roll-die stuff found on even the usual best; rose petal pattern around each screw-mounting hole and hand-done “wiggle cut” along both borders; genuine original Ivoroid buttons. Gears turn smoothly and are unworn, low-E a bit loose but works just fine, can be tightened up by a competent person. $200
