9 lbs. 12 oz. Not a reissue! This is a very clean and 100% original late 1969/early 1970 Dan Armstrong clear lucite guitar w/ OHSC. Neck #A905D is definitely a '69 neck number but the pots are dated 41st week of '69 and 4th week of 1970 which logic would dictate final assembly of this guitar was early '70.This is a one-owner guitar bought new and lovingly kept for 49 years. He was very proud of this guitar and took immaculate care of it. Includes both pickups (rock treble and country blues) 2 extra bridges, two super cool Ampeg sales catalogs with pricing with pics of all the Ampeg Products includes pics of Mick and Keith, the Faces, Rod Stewart etc. Also includes a letter written in 1972 to the owner of the instrument informing him that these guitars were no longer being made. Also included assorted magazine articles about the Dan Armstrong guitars as well that were collected over the years. The frets are in very good shape and the Brazilian rosewood fingerboard in gorgeous! This is a 100% original guitar including the Schaller tuners which they used on the prototypes, 1969/70 models. These are very hard to find in this condition, with all the goodies AND with the original case....A905D
